Joseph T. Smith

Mr. Smith was from Tullahoma, Coffee County, Tennessee where he graduated from Tullahoma High School in 1945. Joe spent two years in the Marines before attending Middle Tennessee State College where he received his Bachelor's degree in music and his Master's degree from Peabody College in Nashville, TN. Prior to coming to Franklin County, Joe served as part-time director at Dekalb County High School. He began his teaching career at Franklin County High School in 1951.
